competition law

Published on

Competition law can be defined as a set of legal rules governing the competition or rivalry among economic operators (companies) to retain customers within the market. It includes rules related to searching for and retaining customers within the market, and it is part of economic law, serving as an alternative to market law. Competition law encompasses texts that prohibit anti-competitive practices, both individual and collective, especially unfair competition. Law 10/05 related to competition has expanded its scope of application to individuals and activities. It gives the state the ability to intervene in monitoring and determining the prices of widely consumed goods.
