The Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) brings to the attention of all the economic operators and public institutions that under the occasion of the 20th meeting of the tripartite which brought together the Government, the UGTA and the Patronat, a monitoring committee for investment and development was set up by a decision signed by Mr. the Prime Minister Abdelmalek SELLAL.
The monitoring committee placed under the authority of Mr. the Prime Minister and chaired by the Minister and the Prime Minister's Office Director is composed of:
the General- Secretaries of the Ministries:
- Of the Interior and Local Government,
- Of Industry and Mines,
- Of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries,
- Of territory planning, tourism and crafts, as it is specified.
the General Director of the National Agency of Investment Development (ANDI),
the General Director of the National Agency of Intermediation and Land Regulatory Affairs (ANIREF).
the President of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions (ABEF).
The role of this monitoring committee is to monitor investment actions, to propose all the ways and means to contribute to the development of investment in Algeria, to anticipate all the difficulties that may arise and curb the national investment policy as well as being interactive to propose facilitations and solutions.
In connection with the National Investment Council (CNI), the Monitoring Committee collects processes and analyzes data and information relating to investment, monitoring and active observation of its environment and the conditions under which investment projects are carried out.
It will also detect evolution and changes in the field of investment, Obstacles to the act of investing and the creation of companies and best practices that can be exchanged (benchmarking) inter wilayas.
In carrying out its tasks, the Committee shall ensure periodic analysis of databases relating to the allocation of land resources by wilayas, the financing of projects by banks, projects in progress and those not committed And their classification according to the difficulties and obstacles encountered, as well as any other database which can contribute to the improvement of the visibility and the anticipation in this field.
